Organised by the Million Vegan Grandmothers in Partnership with Climate Healers and The Vegan Community
With Tami Hay, Anne Casparsson, Dr. Sailesh Rao, and Linda Middlesworth
April 24 and May 1 | ⏱️Time: 2:00 PM ET | 11:00 AM PT | Live on Zoom
The bond between a mother and her child is a sacred expression of universal love. While we honor this connection in human families every Mother’s Day, a different reality exists for mothers in the dairy industry, where this bond is often severed shortly after birth.
To bridge this gap, A Million Vegan Grandmothers, in partnership with Climate Healers and The Vegan Community, is observing the inaugural International Calf & Cow Mother’s Day on May 9 and 10. This global observance uses storytelling and joyful celebration to expand our circle of compassion to include all sentient mothers.
🌿Part 2: From Awareness to Action (May 1, 2026):
Transform passive awareness into meaningful change. Gain strategies to communicate animal sentience clearly and present plant-based living as a joyful, accessible invitation for change.
Join this space to listen and learn as we extend the honor of motherhood to all species, and take a vital stride toward a kinder world.

In the pursuit of a kinder world, it is easy to forget to extend the same kindness inwards. This session is a gift for every vegan advocate who wants to take a break from their busy life to give themselves a dose of peace, love, and grounding.
True Ahimsa is caring for yourself as you care for other sentient beings. Nourishing your mind, body, and soul strengthens your advocacy and makes it more sustainable.
Come and restore your inner balance through:
- An exploration of how yoga and meditation weave into Ahimsa and a plant-based lifestyle to support holistic well-being.
- A collective healing with a gently guided World Peace Meditation.
Anna Ferguson, leader of the Ahimsa, Yoga and Veganism Passion Pod, is joined by Will Tuttle, PhD — visionary educator, musician, and internationally bestselling author of The World Peace Diet — together with Judy McCoy Carman, activist and author of Peace to All Beings and Homo Ahimsa.
This panel welcomes vegan advocates, yoga practitioners, and anyone seeking to enhance their well-being through mindfulness and a compassion-centered lifestyle.
