International Calf and Cow Mother’s Day: Part One: Opening Hearts

Can the definition of motherhood include every mother, regardless of species?

The International Calf & Cow Mother’s Day – Opening Hearts workshop invites a deep exploration of the sacred mother-baby and how it transcends the human experience.

This workshop is part 1 of a two-part teaching series, leading to the main observance of the International Calf & Cow Mother’s Day on May 9 and 10

Led by the founder of Million Vegan Grandmothers, Tami Hay, and journalist Anne Casparsson, and featuring insights from Dr. Sailesh Rao and Linda Middlesworth, it honors all sentient mothers and aims to inspire action for mothers and children separated within the dairy industry.

Watch this session to:

  • Explore the universal nature of the mother-child bond.
  • Learn how storytelling, art, and community participation can spark meaningful change.
  • Discover strategies to lead compassionate dialogues that inspire others.
