International Calf and Cow Mother’s Day: Part Two: From Awareness to Action

International Calf and Cow Mother’s Day: From Awareness to Action is the second workshop of our two-part teaching series in preparation for the observance on May 9th and 10th.
With this session, we move beyond the “why” and into the “how” of compassionate living.
Hosted by Tami Hay, founder of Million Vegan Grandmothers, this session connects nutrition, ethical awareness, and the sacred relationship of all mothers and their young.
While Tami Hay led a guided meditation focused on the bond between mother cows and calves, Linda Middlesworth shared her transformative journey from chronic illness to becoming a powerful voice for animal advocacy. Dr. Sailesh Rao added a systemic perspective, highlighting how social systems influence beliefs around food and nutrition.
Watch this recording to:

  • Deepen your empathy through reflection and storytelling.
  • Connect whole-food plant-based nutrition with ethical nonviolence.
  • Master compassionate advocacy to inspire your community.

Ahimsa, Yoga and Veganism Passion Pod Panel with Anna Ferguson, Dr. Will Tuttle and Judy Carman

In the pursuit of a kinder world, it is easy to forget to extend the same kindness inwards. This session is a gift for every vegan advocate who wants to take a break from their busy life to give themselves a dose of peace, love, and grounding.

True Ahimsa is caring for yourself as you care for other sentient beings. Nourishing your mind, body, and soul strengthens your advocacy and makes it more sustainable.

Come and restore your inner balance through:

  • An exploration of how yoga and meditation weave into Ahimsa and a plant-based lifestyle to support holistic well-being.
  • A collective healing with a gently guided World Peace Meditation.

Anna Ferguson, leader of the Ahimsa, Yoga and Veganism Passion Pod, is joined by Will Tuttle, PhD — visionary educator, musician, and internationally bestselling author of The World Peace Diet — together with Judy McCoy Carman, activist and author of Peace to All Beings and Homo Ahimsa.

This panel welcomes vegan advocates, yoga practitioners, and anyone seeking to enhance their well-being through mindfulness and a compassion-centered lifestyle.
