Hippocrates Docs J1T4H Challenge [Dr. Roxanne George – Taking this product out of your diet reduces breast cancer by 50-80%] Breast Cancer Awareness & Prevention Series. Dr. George shares the dangers of having dairy, especially cow’s milk, in your daily diet. She also shares the startling increased percentage risk of having breast cancer by consuming dairy products everyday. Dairy is often thought to be a good source of calcium and fiber. Instead, studies show that plant-based alternatives are far greater sources of the calcium, fiber and the phytonutrients the body needs. Cows get calcium and fiber from the grass they eat. It’s not inherent in their system. Dr. Roxanne encourages us to get our calcium from greens, beans, seeds and so many other plant-based fruits and vegetables. Not only will we get calcium, we’ll get fiber and phytonutrients to promote disease, cancer and chronic illness prevention. Dr. George recently joined Hippocrates Docs in collaboration with Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (“PCRM”) to share, connect, and give you answers in her Dialogue segment, as well as host of the RADIANT HEALTH DIALOGUES Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention SUMMIT. Her Topic: “The Connection Between Dairy and Breast Cancer” was interesting and informative. YOUR CHALLENGE: Take dairy products, especially cow’s milk, completely out of your diet. Get your calcium, fiber and phytonutrients from a better source; greens, beans, seeds, and other plant-based fruits and vegetables. Dr. Roxanne George is a board-certified Pediatrician and is certified in Plant-based Nutrition through eCornell in 2016. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she was involved in research projects involving, viral research, cystic fibrosis research and transposon or “jumping gene” studies. Then she decided to pursue her medical degree and graduated from American University of the Caribbean and completed her residency at NYU-Winthrop University Hospital. After moving to Texas, she started to have an overwhelming number of obese patients asking for her advice on diet and eating. Today, she uses her knowledge and expertise advising parents in raising healthier happier children and families using plant-based nutrition. Hippocrates Docs and PCRM challenge you to join us in the Let’s Beat Breast Cancer Initiative. Implement these 4 steps to reduce the risks of Breast Cancer and to help in healing: choose plant-based foods, exercise, limit alcohol, and aim for a healthy weight.
