National Animal Rights Day 2025 San Francisco
EVENT DETAILS
Location – UN PlazaÂ
McAllister St & Leavenworth St, San Francisco, CA, United States
Description – The National Animal Rights Day (NARD) is an annual day observed in more than 50 countries around the world, on the first Sunday in June, for the purpose of giving a voice to all animals and raising awareness for their rights.
On this day, special NARD events are held in dozens of major cities – from Tokio to Mumbai, Rome to London, Los Angeles to Mexico City – to Commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands, Educate the public about humanity’s treatment of animals and the alternatives to it, and Celebrate the progress that is being made towards ending the suffering of animals on Earth. These events bring the animal rights community together, and allow people to mourn, and celebrate, together, thus empowering them to keep fighting for animals.
Our vision is to establish a National Animal Rights Day in every country on Earth. Like ‘Memorial Day’ and ‘Independence Day’ for the animals combined, the day will continue to be observed until all animals are free from enslavement and their rights are established and protected by law.
